Filip Dembski

Psychologist and Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapist. I work individually with adults and adolescents aged 16 and above.

Experience and Qualifications

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology. I gained professional experience as a psychologist at the Regional Adoption Center. In 2022, I completed an internship at the Academy of Motivation and Education Counseling Center, and since then I have been continuously working psychotherapeutically with clients.

Therapeutic Approach

I focus on goals that are collaboratively established with clients at the beginning of therapy. I use cognitive-behavioral techniques such as emotion journals, mindfulness practices, and elements of motivational interviewing. I also encourage clients to work on themselves between sessions.

About My Work

I approach each client individually and consistently work toward achieving therapy goals that are tailored to their needs and expectations.

My aim is for clients to be able to independently manage the difficulties they initially sought help for, as well as to develop effective tools for coping with new challenges. Together, we create a plan to prevent the recurrence of problematic behaviors in the future.

Areas of Support

I work with clients experiencing, among others, depression, anxiety disorders, social anxiety, burnout, ADHD, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and behavioral addictions. I also provide therapy in English.

Clients value my openness, non-judgmental attitude, and empathy, as well as the measurable outcomes of our work and the positive changes visible from week to week.

Take care of your mental health!
